At TheWebhostingDeal, compliance and integrity are central to our hosting services. To uphold these standards, we have implemented a Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process for new account registrations. This process ensures thorough validation of your business details.

Customer Account Verification

When you register for a new Customer Account, we conduct a verification process to confirm your business information before processing and fulfilling your order. To ensure a smooth verification, please provide accurate and up-to-date information, including a valid email address and phone number for communication. This helps us maintain a secure environment, minimizing the risk of defaults, fraud, and service misuse. Your account information will undergo an automatic verification process for efficiency.

Additional Verification

If our automated systems are unable to verify your information, we may request further details via the email address and phone number you provided. This Additional Verification process may require you to submit extra business information, such as your business name, registration details, website URL, and personal contact information. You may also be asked to provide proof of identity, address, or location. Once all necessary details are verified in line with compliance standards, we can proceed to process your order and establish a Sales Contract.

Data Retention

During account registration, we collect and process personal data such as your name, address, phone number, payment details, and email address. Please note that we do not store payment information if you opt for credit card payments, using a pseudonymous card number instead. We retain your registration data for 24 months or until your account is deleted, or the statutory retention period expires, whichever occurs first.

Existing customers may also be required to undergo re-verification when necessary. In such cases, we will notify you in advance, giving sufficient time to provide the required information. Compliance with our Sales Terms requires that your account and business details are kept current.

GDPR Compliance

By placing an order or requesting a quotation, you consent to TheWebhostingDeal’s KYC verification process and the handling of personal data for this purpose. We ensure that you are informed of the legitimate purposes and legal basis for processing your data.

Verification Timeline

The manual verification of your order is typically a fast process. If additional information is needed, we will notify you within 15 minutes of the request. The speed at which you provide the requested documentation will determine how quickly we can finalize the Sales Contract.
